brachydactyly type A3

A brachydactyly characterized by shortening of the middle phalanx of the fifth finger resulting in radial curvature of the fifth finger.

Signs and symptoms

• Type A brachydactyly
• Short middle phalanx of the 5th finger
• Clinodactyly of the 5th finger
• Cone-shaped epiphysis
• Rhomboid or triangular shaped 5th finger middle phalanx
