Dowling-Degos disease

A pigmentation disease characterized by a reticulate pattern of abnormally dark skin coloring, particularly in the body's folds and creases.

Signs and symptoms

• Reticulated skin pigmentation
• Progressive reticulate hyperpigmentation
• Hypomelanotic macule
• Reticular hyperpigmentation
• Follicular hyperkeratosis
• Hypergranulosis
• Epidermal acanthosis
• Pruritus
• Papule
• Hyperpigmented/hypopigmented macules
