A cerebral degeneration characterized by an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the ventricles of the brain, leading to progressive enlargement of the head.

Signs and symptoms

• Cerebellar vermis hypoplasia
• Posterior fossa cyst
• Sagittal craniosynostosis
• Dandy-Walker malformation
