A renal tubular transport disease that is characterized by hypertension and hypokalemia caused by dysregulation of epithelial sodium channels causing over expression of the channel.
Signs and symptoms
- Hypokalemic alkalosis
- Decreased circulating renin concentration
- Hypertension
- Hypokalemia
- Decreased circulating aldosterone concentration
- Renal insufficiency
