A facial nerve disease characterized by congenital, uni- or bilateral, non-progressive facial weakness and limited abduction of the eye(s).

Signs and symptoms

  • Hand clenching
  • Micrognathia
  • Delayed speech and language development
  • Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism
  • Epicanthus
  • Lower limb undergrowth
  • Mild intellectual disability
  • Congenital fibrosis of extraocular muscles
  • Split hand
  • Abnormality of the voice
