A multiple endocrine neoplasia characterized by medullary carcinoma of the thyroid, pheochromocytoma, hyperparathyroidism, and occasionally cutaneous lichen amyloidosis.

- Elevated circulating calcitonin concentration
- Hyperparathyroidism
- Elevated urinary epinephrine level
- Elevated urinary norepinephrine level
- Elevated urinary vanillylmandelic acid
- Medullary thyroid carcinoma
- Elevated urinary dopamine level
- Aganglionic megacolon
- Cutaneous lichen amyloidosis
