A physical disorder that is characterized by missing or underdeveloped muscles on one side of the body, resulting in abnormalities that can affect the chest, shoulder, arm, and hand.
Signs and symptoms
- Dextrocardia
- Unilateral absence of pectoralis major muscle
- Absence of pectoralis minor muscle
- Unilateral hypoplasia of pectoralis major muscle
- Rib fusion
- Hypoplasia of serratus anterior muscle
- Hemivertebrae
- Unilateral oligodactyly
- Hypoplasia of deltoid muscle
- Hypoplasia of latissimus dorsi muscle
