X-linked hereditary sensory neuropathy

A hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy characterized by X-linked inheritance of slowly progressing neuropathy with onset in the first or second decade of life without autonomic dysfunction.

Signs and symptoms

• Decreased number of peripheral myelinated nerve fibers
• Sensory neuropathy
