A spermatogenic failure characterized by azoospermia or oligoasthenoteratozoospermia that has_material_basis_in hemizygous mutation in the GCNA gene on chromosome Xq13.1.

Signs and symptoms

• Male infertility
• Elevated circulating follicle stimulating hormone level
• Azoospermia
• Decreased serum testosterone concentration
• Elevated circulating luteinizing hormone level
• Abnormal prolactin level
